Completed my second week with the Netball ACT Net Set Go program where we go to different schools within ACT and promote and teach netball. I noticed that there is a great difference in the coaching techniques needed from Kindergarten to year 1/2 which was very surprising. Next week I will be at Kaleen primary coaching years 3 - 6.
I am working on a project proposal for my placement at the AIS. I am providing the head coach with a booklet on exercises and methods to improve performance for 2 of his athletes. Sunae is in year 9 and she is classified at an amputee on one leg below the knee. Lochlan is 15 years old and is an amputee for both arms above and below the elbow. This booklet is to be completed in 4 weeks and will update on progress as I go.

Me
I am 20 Years old. My birthday is on the 6th of august 1991. I am in my last year of Sports coaching and exercise science. I would like to go on to complete a post graduate degree in Masters of physiotherapy. I am currently completing a placement at the A.I.S with the A.C.T Junior track and feild for children with a disability with Chris Timpson which I am enjoying very much.
I also coach the NET SET GO program within differnt primary schools within canberra for A.C.T netball. I am 2 younger brothers. Our family is very sporty, both my brothers have represented A.C.T in rugby league and are now in the junior radiers squad. I have represented A.C.T for womens cricket and am now currently playing netball socically for the university.

Week 2
Reflection on lecture notes
- 0-8 years very active - playing a variety of sports will have different observation skills, Scanning and different atmosphere in sessions.
- Cognitive load theory - can take in 7 thing in hour, 9 is good 5 is not so good!
- Expery pedagogy - trained, a learned way of teaching, coaching
Orderly - aspiration for coaches and teaches.
